Certified Chef. Career started in Barbados, moved to Coco Reef Tobago and then ended up working with two of the best chefs in Trinidad at Solimar fine Dining.
Represented Trinidad and Tobago in Taste of the Caribbean four years in a row, one year as Team Manager. Last year of competition, won Gold medal in Chef Of The Year, competing against the Caribbean's finest in Miami. In all, I have collected several awards from the government for the promotion of tourism, 13 medals from competing and a scholarship to London and Europe.
Took an Italian cooking course at the Italian Culinary Institute and then went on to open an at home chef/catering service.
Eventually decided to do Pastries, and the rest was a piece of cake!
